La Luciernaga (Firefly) is a small decorative candle making business operated by women located in Tegucigalpa, Honduras. The profits are used to support the projects of Acciones para el Desarrollo Poblacional (A.D.P.), a non-profit women's organization. The work of A.D.P. includes a shelter for abused women and their children, a home for pregnant women, and a micro-lending program.
